Bonjour
Bonjour from Paris. That is as much french as I know. Have arrived in Paris and staying in a fairly nice Hostel. Sharing with a San Franciscan who is a nice guy. Arrived on the Eurostar which only takes about 2.5 hours. Was great to see the countryside from the carriage and we went under the channel and saw no fish :)
On the train I sat next to a French lady who didn't pay me much attention - she was young and I think that she was shy! And why shouldn't she be with an outgoing Aussie next to her. So I went to the drinks cart and got chatting to a guy from Cornwall who was lovely. His name was Orlando and he was a puppeteer. Yes a puppeteer. LJ you would have loved him!
He helped me to buy tickets for the train, and I found my way here. Very daunting but I have angels all around me who help me along my way! So will see how the hostel's go this weekend and I bought a ticket back that leaves at 1:30 Sunday so regardless I reckon I will have a great weekend.
By the way I went to Madam Toussad's and it was suprisingly awesome! And walked through the live horror area and had the wits scared out of me - was so funny! Also went to St>Pauls Cathedral which was awesome and lit some candles for loved one's passed. A really spiritual place and amazing to look at!
So my voyages continue and looking to do the Louvre and Notre Dame tomorrow. Lets hope the weather clears a little.
