Jack, I'm sooo COLD
OK that wasn't a song but from Titanic in case you were guessing! Yes, my titles are getting weirder and weirder! The dark does that to you. This week (esp. today) is friggin freezin! But I did have at least 4 snow flakes land on me this morning when walking to the underground - so I classify that as being snowed on! Apparently that doesn't happen in London - well SORRY IT DOES TO ME PEOPLE :)
So after sitting on conference calls to Edinburgh and they talk about the snow/sleet and cold, I got bragging rights today and I took them.
How is everyone doing over there? Good on the Aussies for whipping the English - that helped me a lot to taunt others I work with.
Haven't been travelling since Dublin - have been working hard and had to save due to the decrease in pounds over the Xmas break. So I have been watching Celebrity Big Brother. WOW I thought Oz was great trash TV - this takes the cake - BRILLIANT, MAGNIFICIENT and very entertaining. It has Jermaine Jackson (jackson 5) on it - and I have to say that guys is so great considering their unfortunate father. There has been huge press about racism etc and the usual arguments about whether it should be on at all. It has a chick from Kenny Everett show on it (CLEO?) and it has starbuck from Battlstar Galactica - absolute quality TV.
Have also started exercising - played squash and can't walk! I did mention teh darkness however I saw the sun on the weekend for more than a couple of hours each day - yeh - rockin!
I feel like I have begun to settle in - finally, and even though I miss the people i am enjoying being here a lot.Anyway keep in touch - oh and I am an Aunt again - a baby girl - Cate - So that is the biggest news and best start anyone could have in a new year!
