From little things big things grow
OK, so could only think of that song title for this entry -have no idea as to the relevance so excuse the tangent. Thought it best to update you on the progress of job hunting etc over here as it has been ages since my last entry. Wales was great by the way. Scotland still wins, but Wales is nice and closer so all good there!
House wise I am sharing a fantastic place with my mate Dave (he reads this so there will be no Dave sledging taking place!). Actually he is a really good housemate - no lie and the place is big and roomy in case I get moody and want to co-habitate in silence and space I can!
I have had issues with the lounges in the main room - and searched all over London to get material to cover the Ken-Done look a like pattern on them, and it is still a work in progress - colour/type and shape is still debatable on the material I bought - but trying to make the best of a bad situation.
Apart from that, I am enjoying being at home (yeh right) while looking for work. Actually went a bit balmy last week - just wanted to get working, but the organising of the contract has been quite slow and I am very impatient. This week - totally different story (could be hormonal). Got a job and now that I have a great place to live, it does involve travel in Europe - namely Belgium I think, so may not be home that much anyway -(at least I can avoid the lounge debarcle!)
So maybe, perhaps will start work on Friday this week or Mon next week. As long as I am earning money and not spending it I will be happy!
London is rainy today - but quite nice as it hasn't hit the really cold stage, and considering they didn't have a summer here at all, I am happy for any sunshine between now and when darkness is the theme in November.
Will write again soon - oh and if you haven't been able to play the Wii games yet - I HIGHLY recommend it, and also recommend you stretch before AND after!!
Take care
Tx
